On June 22nd, 60 Bidwells from 16 states and Canada descended on Asheville, NC, for our annual reunion.

Don Bidwell, Grove City, OH, was elected to succeed Larry Bidwell of Raleigh, NC, as President of the Association. Jim Bidwell, OH, Zeb Bidwell, IA, & Ruth Tyrol, CT, were elected to the Board of Directors.

The annual Banquet and auction provided an opportunity for folks to get re-acquainted and to enjoy one another's company.

After Sunday's Memorial Service, a tour of the Folk Art Center on The Blue Ridge Parkway was on the agenda, followed by a tour of the Thomas Wolfe Home.

Monday the group toured the famous Biltmore Mansion, had lunch at the Deer Park Restaurant and ended the day with a tour of the Biltmore Winery.

The 2008 Reunion will be held in the Superior, WI, Duluth, MN area on dates to be determined.
